A Trailblazer with a Passion for Storytelling

John Huber is a remarkable individual who has achieved what many dream of, and he’s just getting started. Diagnosed on the autism spectrum, John has never let labels define his path. Instead, he’s forged his own, guided by a passion for writing and a commitment to self-expression.

An Accomplished Scholar

In December 2023, John graduated from Misericordia University with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Design. During his time at university, he discovered his love for storytelling and honed his craft by writing for The Highlander, the school’s newspaper.

One of his standout articles was a witty and thought-provoking piece on the pumpkin spice phenomenon, showcasing his ability to blend humor with insight. We included it as one of our first blogs. This talent for storytelling is one of the many reasons John is the perfect fit as our first Ambassador.

A Vision for the Future

John’s vision for his future at Osprey Village is one of independence, creativity, and connection. He dreams of using his skills in writing and communication to inspire others, build relationships, and contribute to the vibrant community we are creating.
