Rick started his own Fiduciary Advisory firm in 2005 specializing in Corporate Retirement Plans: WedgeWorld Retirement Group. WedgeWorld serves over 100 corporate clients and over $2 billion in assets. 3 years ago, Rick sold his firm to World Investment Advisors. In his spare time, Rick loves to play golf and pickle ball and spending time with family and friends. He has been married to Sandra for over 30 years and has two kids, Zoe and Johnny.

Catherine began her career as an educator and was recognized as Teacher of the Year for Solano County School District. Her passion for education later lead her to McGraw-Hill Education where she became a top performing Sales Representative. However, Catherine’s greatest role began with motherhood after the birth of her two daughters, Ginger and Catie. When her youngest daughter Catie was diagnosed with Autism, Catherine made the decision to step away from her career to fully dedicate herself to Catie’s as well-being and development. As an advocate, tireless researcher and caregiver, Catherine has gained invaluable experience, navigating the challenges and opportunities that come with supporting a loved one with special needs. Catherine is deeply committed to the success of this groundbreaking community and is on both the Advisory Committee and the Services Committee for Osprey Village. She was drawn to Osprey Village because she believes it is a truly unique community that will foster independence, inclusion, and a sense of well-being for adults with special needs. In addition to her work with Osprey Village, Catherine enjoys spending time with her husband Britt and daughters, outside on the South Carolina coast.

John is a retired financial executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in the mortgage banking and financial services industry. He served as Chief Accounting Officer at Kind Lending, Chief Financial Officer at CrossCountry Mortgage, and Controller at Stearns Lending, directing financial operations, internal controls, and strategic growth initiatives across large, privately and publicly held institutions. Throughout his career, John oversaw major financial system implementations, private equity transactions, and corporate restructurings while maintaining rigorous accounting standards and transparency. He was widely respected for his integrity, precision, and commitment to building strong financial frameworks that supported long-term organizational success.

Robin is the mother of a 16-year-old son with Fragile X Syndrome and has been a passionate advocate for individuals with disabilities for more than 14 years. She holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina and is the owner of Blackwood PR, a public relations and marketing consulting firm. Recently relocating to Beaufort after many years in Greenville, Robin has deep South Carolina roots—born in Orangeburg and a longtime visitor to Beaufort and Hilton Head. She has volunteered and served on numerous disability-related boards and nonprofits and is dedicated to making South Carolina a more inclusive place for individuals living with disabilities.

Amie serves as Family Relations & Services Chairperson. She is the franchise owner of Bitty & Beau’s Coffee in Charlotte, NC, where she leads a mission-driven business built on inclusion, empowerment, and community connection. The coffee shop provides meaningful paid employment for 25 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Amie is passionate about building meaningful connections for both the residents and families of Osprey Village. Outside of her business, she is deeply committed to advocacy and community engagement, having volunteered with the Autism Society of North Carolina, the NC Council for Children’s Rights, the Family Support Network of NC, and Autism Speaks Carolinas. Through this work, she has helped raise awareness, promote understanding, and support individuals with disabilities and their families. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Amie earned a degree in Business Management and Marketingfrom SUNY Albanyand spent more than a decade in the advertising industry before moving to Charlotte, NC, in 2003 with her husband, Victor.

Jeannie is an accomplished entrepreneur specializing in the finance industry and investment talent. Jeannie is the Founder and managing partner of Three Arch Advisors, an executive search and consultancy firm focused on senior level talent for the hedge fund industry. She also co-founded and was CEO of EliteGrad, an innovative online college recruiting platform that streamlined post-grad hiring for top financial services firms using AI matching. Jeannie is also the Founder of Gambino’s NY Subs, a successful restaurant business in San Francisco’s Financial District. Jeannie’s earlier career includes significant leadership roles in equity sales and trading at brokerage firms and investment banks including Spear Leeds and Kellogg, Goldman Sachs and Jefferies and Company. She has been a supporter and volunteer with several charitable organizations over the years including Women for Women, Hekima Place, Unconditional, The Special Olympics, The Riverview School and The Lift Foundation. Jeannie resides in Laguna Beach, California and has two adult children and a golden retriever. In her free time, she enjoys several outdoor activities with her friends and family including beach volleyball, skiing, hiking and pickleball. Jeannie has been a lifelong athlete and attended The University of Memphis on a full tennis scholarship.

Don is the President and CEO of Bloomin’ Promotions, a leader in eco-friendly promotional products for the specialty advertising industry. Since its founding, Bloomin’ has proudly employed adults with IDD. Don is also a partner at The Golden Mill in Golden, Colorado—known as “the backyard of Golden.” The Golden Mill is deeply committed to community impact, having raised over $150,000 (and counting) for local, national, and international causes. Through partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and community fundraisers, they’ve proven that they’re not just an award-winning, innovative food hall—they’re a force for good.

Ian is a highly successful entrepreneur and investor with a proven record of leadership in public relations, marketing, and technology innovation. He served as President and CEO of Electronic Tenant® Solutions for nearly two decades, building it into an industry leader serving over 500 million square feet of commercial real estate worldwide. Under his direction, the company developed applications that advanced operations, communications, risk management, and marketing for major real estate organizations. In addition to his business achievements, Ian has been active in political strategy and communications, contributing to campaigns at both the local and national level, including a race for the U.S. Senate. His entrepreneurial spirit, strategic insight, and dedication to impactful communication will be tremendous assets to Osprey Village.

Iain brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in global sales and sports marketing. Currently the Vice President of Sales at Boast Global, he oversees business operations across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia. Iain previously held senior leadership roles at Fila USA and Wilson Racquet Sports, where he led large teams, managed multimillion-dollar P&Ls, and built strategic partnerships with top retailers and professional athletes. His background in business development, strategy, and team leadership will be a tremendous asset to Osprey Village.

Greg graduated from Georgia Tech with degrees in Chemical and Electrical Engineering and spent two decades at Corning Inc., where he rose to President of Corning Innovation Ventures. He later founded a successful venture capital investment fund, leading and advising numerous startups. With multiple U.S. and international patents and extensive board experience, Greg brings deep technical, financial, and leadership expertise to Osprey Village.

Jay is the President and Founder of Trident Construction Group with more than 23 years of experience leading construction projects totaling over $300 million. His work spans projects ranging from $500,000 to $75 million across the Southeast, Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. Jay’s background also includes serving with the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps and overseeing complex developments for both government and private clients. His extensive experience and leadership in construction management will be invaluable as he leads our Construction Committee and helps guide the next phase of Osprey Village’s growth.

Past Chariman of the Board Born and raised in Middle Tennessee, Tom is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law. After earning his law degree, he relocated to Hilton Head Island and joined one of the Island’s premier law firms, where he quickly rose to become head of the firm’s real estate division. In 2000, Tom transitioned from practicing law to real estate and became a partner with The Reed Team at Charter One Realty. In 2014, he became a partner in Charter One Realty itself and was soon named the company’s President and Broker-in-Charge. Every year, he and his partners in The Reed Team consistently rank among the top 1% in area real estate sales, and Charter One Realty remains the region’s leading real estate firm in overall production. He has also served on the board of the Hilton Head Island Multiple Listing Service and played a key role in its transition to REsides Multiple Listing Service, where he continues to serve on the board. Tom is the past Chairman of the Board for Osprey Village, having served with exceptional dedication for more than ten years. He played a crucial role in helping the organization reach its current stage of growth and success, and his knowledge, expertise, and passion for the project continue to be invaluable. We are fortunate that he is remaining actively involved as Advisor to the Board and as a member of the Osprey Village Construction Committee.

Patty is one half of the Shut Up Sisters and co-author of the book, Shut Up About Your Perfect Kid! A Survival Guide for Ordinary Parents of Special Children. She currently serves as the Program Coordinator for job readiness and independent living skills at Osprey Village. A lifelong resident of Massachusetts, Patty relocated to Bluffton, South Carolina in 2022—trading snowy winters for sunshine, reptiles, and the freedom to wear white pants year- round.
