Helen Keller once said Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement; nothing can be done without hope. In her essay titled “Optimism,” she writes that optimism comes from facing reality, using faith, perseverance, and action to find joy and achieve goals, and the Board of Directors at Osprey Village couldn’t agree more!
Because our committed families answered our call last month to step up and support an innovative and creative approach to funding their cottages through a Founder's Club, we are breaking ground in July and hosting a groundbreaking ceremony on August 13, 2026. A thoughtfully designed resident-owned community like Osprey Village is a rare gem in South Carolina and across the U.S for adults with developmental differences, and we are ready to celebrate the work of the last 18 years to reach this significant milestone with our residents, families and community.
